The Gotthard trans-alpine autobahn and railway pass through Lucerne and provide easy access by car or train from north or south.
By airplane
Zurich Airport is the gateway for the annual European Fuel Cell Forum held in Lucerne. The Official Carrier SWISS offers special conference rates for convenient direct flights to Zurich from all major locations. You can take a direct train from Zürich airport to Lucerne.
The train station is below the airport terminal complex, and direct trains leave hourly at 15 minutes past the hour. The journey takes just over an hour.
